Tej is our extraordinary Head Chef, and the vision behind The Amore. With 14 years in the industry, he discovered a deep connection to Italian food while honing his talent in kitchens across Europe and New Zealand.
He launched The Amore in 2021 with the goal of sharing the love and craft inherent in Italian cuisine to as many people as he could.
Tej has 3 kids at home who keep him busy when he’s not in the kitchen, and he loves to roll out the welcome mat for families like his.
Karam is the second half of this talented team with 8 years experience working in an Italian restaurant.
Karam lives and breathes The Amore. Her attention to detail keeps everything running smoothly, and her natural warmth and hospitality turn our intimate restaurant into a home. Karam has a passion for people.
She loves connecting with new guests every day and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, and leaves well fed.
